Frequently Asked Questions

General

  • Rush fees are available for most items, but approval is required before ordering to ensure we can meet your deadline. Depending on your timeline, rush fees may apply for proofing, production and shipping. Fees begin at $50 and increase based on urgency. Please email info@shopsurcie.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request!

  • If you have not received a proof, we are happy to provide a full refund. If you cancel after receiving a proof but before giving approval, a cancellation fee of $30 will apply, in addition to any proofing fees. Once an order is approved, it cannot be canceled. Orders that do not include proofs will be moved into production immediately and cannot be canceled.

  • If the typo was included in your approved proof, we can offer a discount for reprinting, although shipping fees will apply. If the typo was not in your approved proof, Surcie will reprint your order at no charge.

  • For save the dates and birth announcements, please email your photo(s) to proofs@shopsurcie.com with your order number. For holiday cards, please email photo(s) to holiday@shopsurcie.com with your order number. No need to crop your photo to size, just send the original file and our designers will take care of that!

  • Typically, a single-ply invitation can be mailed with just one Forever stamp. However, square-shaped, oversized or heavy invitations always require additional postage. For wedding invitations, the required amount of postage will depend on the total weight and size of the suite. We recommend taking your full suite to the post office to determine the exact amount of postage required.

  • Orders are sent into production once they are approved. Should something on your order need to be changed after approval, please reach out to info@shopsurcie.com and we will handle on a case by case basis.

  • Yes! We offer digital envelope addressing with all invitations, wedding suites and announcements. Digital envelope addressing is not available a la carte. Hand calligraphy services are offered for our bespoke brides.

  • Yes! We can print customer supplied artwork on most items.

  • One or two color files should be shared in vector format. Watercolor files should be shared as a transparent PNG or JPEG. Files not provided in the correct format may incur additional fees.

  • Production times vary for each item. Please see the product page for estimated turnaround times.

  • We do not offer pre-production samples, however, we are happy to share a physical sample to show paper stock, colors and print methods. To order a sample pack, click here.

  • View our Master Color Palette. Please keep in mind that colors can vary between products and print methods. For example, chambray letterpress and chambray brushed foil will not match perfectly.

  • Each of our products have varying minimum orders. The majority of our paper products require a minimum order of 25 and the majority of our party favors require a minimum order of 50. Please refer to specific product pages for minimums and ordering quantities.

  • We do not offer discounts or price adjustments on orders that have already been placed, regardless of order status.

  • While we do our best to offer similar colors across all products, due to the nature of each print method and materials, printed colors of the same Pantone or color name can vary across each product.

  • The options for personalization are endless! If you see something not listed on our website, please inquire by emailing info@shopsurcie.com. Please note, custom designs have longer lead time and will require a custom design fee.

  • Yes, however, we recommend ordering extra invitations upfront to avoid having to order more. Reprints require the same amount of setup and labor, which can be costly for smaller quantities.

Wedding

  • Signature suites are available in the fonts shown and allow you to mix block and script fonts, but the font styles themselves cannot be changed. Looking for something custom? Check out our Bespoke Bridal Experience or custom ordering.

  • The number of wedding suites you order should be based on the number of households that you are inviting to your wedding, not the total number of guests. We always recommend including extras in your total count as reprints require a minimum of 25 and are more costly.

  • We offer mailing services to our bespoke brides for an additional fee. Occasionally, our work load allows mailing services outside of our bespoke brides. Please email info@shopsurcie.com for more information. Please note that we do not offer mailing services October - December.

  • Yes, we love a cohesive look from save the dates to the day of paper. Head to our day of paper and customize your own.

  • If there is important information you want to relay to your guests, we recommend a website or details card. Details cards can also be used to include reception information, attire, weekend events, transportation and more.
